Earlier this week, I introduced Dayspring's first ever #EncouragementDare and asked you all to take the challenge with me, giving many ideas to get you started! Many of these ideas were very simple, cost free ideas like a simple smile or a listening ear... all great ways to encourage and something we can ALL provide.
Still, sometimes it can be nice to go a step further when we can and surprise those we care about with a little gift of encouragement. With Dayspring's Labor Day Encouragement Sale, we can do so at a great price! Check out some of my favorites from the sale:
Brave Letterpress Block Set, $15.
Not only are these blocks gorgeous, they also can act as a daily reminder that we can be brave enough to handle whatever life throws at us! These would make a great option for a teen's room too. (Visit this post for more on how Letterpress Blocks work!)
Inspirational Wooden Small Chalkboard Cross, $5.
I admit I'm chalkboard obsessed, but this one is pretty amazing! Gift with a few encouraging words written on the cross, and change out with more encouraging words later!
Faith, Hope & Love Inspirational Journal, $5.
While we always want to provide a listening ear to encourage those we love, sometimes they just aren't ready or able to say it out loud. A journal can be a great way to give them that much needed outlet!
Joy Gift Set, $10.
I love these coordinating gift sets! They include a matching tumbler, pen, bookmark and cross that really do just provide a simple everyday reminder of encouragement. This is also available in Hope & Faith as well.
Kind Words Canvas Tote Bag, $10.
This is perhaps my absolute favorite! I always enjoy cute totes, but this one in not just cute- it's meaningful as well... a constant reminder we can take with us to use our words to encourage others as we go on about our day. I love that whenever I look down and see it, I can remember how big of a difference just a few kind words can make... and perhaps others will take notice as well and spread the kindness around too.
