Offside Secrets is a closed door hockey romcom that includes tropes like workplace romance, forced proximity, forbidden relationship, and found family. This is the third book in a series, but can be read as a stand alone. Be warned: this one is filled with tons of tension, sizzling chemistry, and swoony kisses!

The Author

Anne Kemp is a bestselling author of romantic comedies. She loves reading (and she does it ridiculously fast, too!), gluten-free baking (because everyone needs a hobby that makes them crazy), and finding time to binge-watch her favorite shows. She grew up in Maryland but made Los Angeles her home until she encountered her own real-life meet-cute at a friend's wedding where she ended up married to one of the groomsmen. For real.

Book Review

Once again, Anne Kemp has knocked it out of the park (or the hockey equivalent) with this fun, hockey romcom. The Renegades have been so fun to get to know throughout this series, with a team that truly feels like family... and the strong and powerful women that fall for them, so I loved seeing their captain and their owner getting their much-deserved chance at love. Campbell and Sutton were so good together... amazing chemistry, yes (my goodness, that first kiss!)... but I also loved how they show up to support and try to protect each other too, even if they don't always get it right along the way. There was a lot trying to keep these two apart... and plenty of side characters trying to shake things up... only making me root for them to figure it all out and get that happily ever after. If you're looking for a good hockey romance with just the right amount of 'forbidden' vibes, this is definitely one to check out! 

Offside Secrets is a closed-door romance with kisses only and minimal minor language. It is the third book in the River City Renegade series, and while those who have read the previous books will have a better understanding of team history/dynamics, I do think this could be enjoyed as a standalone as well.
