The Book

Magnolia is pulled into a completely different world of inheritance-hungry family members, all while pretending to love a man she just met. But Nash doesn't make her feel like her dreams are too small. He makes her feel like they're just right, and that maybe he can make them come true.

And maybe, Magnolia is exactly what Nash needs as well. Because it's about time he found someone willing to fight for him.

Book Review

Once again Carina Taylor has proven that she is, in my opinion at least, the absolute queen of banter and sass... because the back and forth between Magnolia and Nash? Oh my goodness, it was so good. I found myself smiling and laughing out loud right from their very first, rather awkward, meet-cute. Followed by a fake engagement to a basic stranger to please a dying grandfather... who then makes a miraculous recovery!? Clearly, the laughs didn't stop with their first meeting. There was so much to love about this one: the family drama (seriously, so good), the chemistry, the friendships... I was here for absolutely everything this story had to offer. And let's not forget Alexander, Nash's grandpa, who really is another star of this story. I mean, I loved the romance between Magnolia and Nash wholeheartedly, but I'm always a sucker for a quirky grandparent character and Alexander fit the role perfectly... I just loved him and his relationship with both Nash AND Magnolia... I won't give anything away, but trust me, you'll definitely want to experience this one for yourself. If you're looking for your next great laugh out loud romcom, Carina Taylor never disappoints! This one is a must read, for sure!
