Nicked by the Mistletoe by Ellie Hartwood: Book Review

**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.

The Book

Old friends, twinkling lights, and mistletoe. Christmas in Silver Pine means falling in love when you least expect it.

Tessa
I’m back in Silver Pine to help Nana at the café, capture the winter beauty for my gallery, and focus on anything but my love life.

Then there’s Nick Tucker—my old friend who bought the rundown Timberline Inn. He’s taller, broader, unfairly handsome . . . and wearing flannel pjs on his roof. One moment I’m framing the perfect shot, the next I’m lost in the swooniest eyes ever.

But I’m done with love. Mistletoe or not.

Nick
Renovating the inn might be a mistake, until Tessa shows up with her camera and a laugh I’ve missed for a decade. The more time we spend together—under twinkle lights and mistletoe—the harder it is to ignore our sizzling chemistry.

Can two old friends resist the holiday sparks, or will Christmas in Silver Pine bring them a happily-ever-after?

Nicked by the Mistletoe, a friends-to-more, small-town novella, is book 10 of the Letters to Mrs. Claus multi-author series—a kisses-only romantic comedy collection bursting with holiday cheer. Each story is linked through Mrs. Claus’s Operation Mistletoe Match, where she receives a letter from a meddling friend or family member about someone lonely, heartbroken, or closed off to love. With her timeless wisdom, Mrs. Claus pens a tailored message to the subject of the letter, offering an inspiring note that tackles their romantic roadblock. Packed with hilarious mishaps, flustered blushes, and courageous adventures as they chase their happily-ever-after in this no-spice, swoon-worthy series!

Book Review

One of my favorite parts of this series as a whole has been the letters written to Mrs. Claus. What can I say- I love meddling characters? And this series has been full of them! But none have captured my heart quite like the sweet letter in this one written by Tessa's son! Seriously, it was just the absolute sweetest and drew me in to Tessa and Nick's story right from the start. Tessa and Nick were friends when they were younger but had left town and not seen each other for years... now, he's back fixing up an old inn, she's helping her grandmother with her cafe... and the sparks are flying! I really enjoyed the sweet and easy chemistry between them and how quickly Nick took her son under his wing... there was a sweet bond between the two of them as well, which made me enjoy their story all that much more. Their story was cozy and heartfelt... and truly felt like a Hallmark Christmas story coming to life on the pages. This was another great addition to the series!

Nicked by the Mistletoe is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language. It is part of the Letters to Mrs. Claus series, a multi-author series of holiday novellas that can be enjoyed as standalones or in any order.
