Looking for the next show or movie to watch? To be honest, I don't really watch a lot of TV these days, but one thing that I've noticed when I do search for something to watch is that a lot of the options aren't quite what I prefer to spend my time on content wise! The same goes for the shows that I prefer my children to watch. So, where can we as Christians find entertainment that we don't have to worry about?

Living Scriptures has been around since 1974, creating and curating content that strengthens families through meaningful storytelling. Their streaming service now offers a ton of options for every member of the family. I was recently given the chance to check out the service for myself, and I have to say, I was quite impressed with what I found... there really is something for everyone. I love a good love story, so naturally, I was drawn to the romance section- packed full of heartwarming romance movies. My husband is a history buff, and there were definitely some documentaries that seemed more up his alley. The kids section is packed full of fun shows, including one that I always recommend to Christian parents of younger children-- Buck Denver's What's in the Bible? -- which is a fun introduction to... well, what's in the Bible. There are a variety of other faith-based children's shows, as well as things that might not be faith-based, but are still child appropriate like Bob the Builder and The Wiggles. Within the primary kids' category, you can also see options broken down by age from the youngest believers all the way up to tweens--- with a separate category just for teens too!
