I love a good romance.

There is something very sweet about reading about two people falling in love for the first time. Perhaps it keeps us reminiscing about the start of our own relationships...or gives us something to look forward to if we've not yet found that great love yet.

Still, so often the story ends once they've fallen in love. We reach a point where we can only assume that they all lived happily ever after. We don't see the work that goes in to making it work... the strength of a REAL love story.

Today, I'm sharing a fantastic new book that does just that, 'Who I Am With You':

For these two broken hearts, the first step toward love will be a huge leap of faith.
Jessica Mason isn’t looking for love when she meets Ridley Chesterfield. Instead she is still reeling from the tragic, unexpected loss of her husband and daughter—and awaiting the arrival of her unborn child. Harboring the secret of her husband’s betrayal, her pain is deeper than anyone knows.
Ridley Chesterfield is hiding out in Hope Springs, Idaho, avoiding a political scandal and the barrage of false media headlines that have tarnished his good name. The last thing Ridley wants is a relationship—but when fate leads Ridley to form a friendship with his reclusive and pregnant neighbor, he wonders if this small-town hideout might be more of a long-term destination.
When Jessica begins to read her great-grandfather’s Bible, she finds a connection with a man she never knew. Somehow the verses he marked and the words he wrote in the margins open her heart to healing. And as Ridley and Jessica help each other forgive the people who have wronged them, they must decide if the past will define them or if they will choose to love again.
Who I Am With You weaves together a modern-day romance with Jessica’s great-grandfather’s story from the 1930s, reminding us that some truths can cross generations and that faith has the power to transform families forever.

A mother and grandmother, Robin and her husband make their home on the outskirts of Boise, sharing iwith a demanding Papillon dog and a persnickety tuxedo cat.

If you're a Christian fiction fan, chances are you've seen the name Robin Lee Hatcher once or twice. She's a best-selling author in the genre, with MANY books under her belt. I must admit, I'd not read any at all though. Most that I had seen in the past had been more historical type romances that I just personally don't tend to prefer. Still this one drew me in. I loved the idea of two different love stories, both that one from years passed and a more current story too. The actual result? Even better than I had anticipated!

Like I said, there is usually a lot more to your typical romance after 'The End'. Life goes on. Hardships come. Strength is challenged. Sometimes, we have to truly fight to keep the one we love. To me, more than any sweet meeting, THAT is what romance is all about, and that is exactly what we see in this book. We see romance gone wrong... sometimes we have the chance to fix past mistakes and go onto have a relationship that is stronger than ever. And sometimes that chance is taken away and we must decide if we will let those moments impact our future relationships too.

If you're looking for a great love story that truly reminds us of what love can be... this is a must read. I truly could not put it down!
