Falling for the Hotshot by Cassandra Joelle: Book Review

**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.

The Book

She's looking for an escape. He's running toward danger.
It's fall in Maple Haven, Wyoming—but an unrelenting heat wave and record-breaking drought has everyone worried.

After a broken engagement, Autumn heads to a remote fire lookout tower to finish out the season, alone.

Blaze, a hotshot firefighter moved to dispatch after an injury, never expects a routine radio check to become the best part of his day.

As wildfire season heats up, two strangers discover that the flames aren't the only things throwing sparks this fall.

Book Review

There is just something about Cassandra Joelle's books that I cannot help but enjoy. They're fun, they're faith-filled, they have cowboys... and simply put, there are just enjoyable to read. And I have enjoyed each one that I have read so far. But this one might just be my new favorite... which is pretty impressive for a story in which our main characters are apart for much of the story. Instead, they get to know and fall for each other primarily over a dispatch radio... and I loved that! Their story was truly unique in so many ways but still had that lightness and strong sense of faith that I enjoy about Cassandra's writing... with some added fall vibes and even a hint of danger to keep things interesting. If you love Christian romance, firefighters and fall romance, this is certainly one to add to your TBR.
