Can you tell us a little bit about what readers can expect from your books?

Readers can expect to find a messy friendship adventure and a solution to that problem. This includes a bible verse that readers can use to navigate their own situation if they encounter something similar in the future. They can also expect lots of laughs and nice friendship moments.

What is the greatest advice you have ever been given about writing?

When you are writing, don’t just tell the readers what is happening in the story, show them through writing. It is important that readers are able to imagine what is going on so they feel like they are a part of the story.

What book made you fall in love with reading?

The entire Baby-Sitters Club Series by Ann. M Martin. I have read about 90% of the series as a kid and adult. The books were an integral part of my childhood![

What do you hope readers will take away from the book?

Just because you are not good at something doesn’t mean you can’t learn and get better at it. Liam really wanted to learn to cook and once he learned what he was doing wrong he became good at it! Don’t give up on something you love to do, even if you’re not good at it at first.
