The Book

There’s nothing worse than having a secret crush—unless you end up in a marriage of convenience with that man.

Bliss Jefferson has a problem.

She’s busy running her sheep ranch, working for her dad, and catching up on small-town gossip. She’s perfectly happy with her life.

That’s not the problem. Her mother is determined to marry her off and have some grandkids. Bliss is desperate to escape her mother’s matchmaking, but even her home isn’t safe anymore with all of the “surprise visitors” her mom is bringing around.

Enter Zane Madden. He also has a problem. He’s all set to take over ownership of his father’s ranch. There’s just one small stipulation: he has to get married. If he doesn’t meet this requirement, his dad plans on selling the ranch.

Book Review

I have said it before and I'm certain I will say it again... when it comes to witty banter, Carina Taylor is the queen! I always look forward to her books knowing the banter is going to keep me smiling... and when you throw in a cowboy, jilted groom and a marriage of convenience too!? Yes, please! I was definitely excited for this one and it did not disappoint. I loved these two right from the start. Zane 's proposal skills may need some work, and I loved that Bliss wasn't afraid to let him know it. The back and forth between these two was fantastic, and the chemistry was even better! Truly, I just couldn't get enough of them together. Their story had me laughing out loud and I couldn't put it down. If you love good banter and a great ranch setting, this is one not to be missed. 

Betting on Bliss is a closed-door romance with kisses only on page and vaguely implied intimacy. It does have some minor language. It is the third book in the Pine Ridge Ranch series, but I think it could be enjoyed as a standalone as well.
