The Book
He became a Hollywood star. She ditched Hollywood. Now they're back on camera with fake snow, real chemistry, and years of unresolved feelings.
Tucker
When the studio announced a nostalgic Malibu Shores Christmas special, I hesitated. I’d rather leave my sitcom past behind. But after Ally Benson agrees to join, I sign faster than you can say “Rudolph.” Is this finally my chance to make up for my previous miscues and win Ally’s heart?
Ally
After Malibu Shores, I traded red carpets for a waitress uniform and faded into small-town obscurity. When I’m offered my original role in a Christmas special, I half-heartedly agree. I’d rather not face the Hollywood heartthrob I crushed on, but I can’t ignore the hefty paycheck.
The cameras are rolling, the fake snow is falling, and the chemistry between these two actors is real. Is this a second chance to open their hearts to each other?
A Christmas Reboot, a second chance novella, is book 5 of the Letters to Mrs. Claus multi-author series—a kisses-only romantic comedy collection bursting with holiday cheer. Each story is linked through Mrs. Claus’s Operation Mistletoe Match, where she receives a letter from a meddling friend or family member about someone lonely, heartbroken, or closed off to love. With her timeless wisdom, Mrs. Claus pens a tailored message to the subject of the letter, offering an inspiring note that tackles their romantic roadblock. Packed with hilarious mishaps, flustered blushes, and courageous adventures as they chase their happily-ever-after in this no-spice, swoon-worthy series!
The Author
I write sweet small-town romances and lighthearted romantic comedies—stories filled with heart, humor, and just enough awkward flirting to keep things interesting. With over 50 published books (and counting), I’ve been lucky enough to see several of them hit #1 New Release in their Amazon categories—which still makes me do a little happy dance.
When I’m not plotting meet-cutes or dreamily describing baked goods, you’ll probably find me riding my bicycle or brainstorming dialogue with my loyal writing assistant, a very opinionated Doodle named Lucy.
Book Review
If you love celebrity romance and a second chance for a couple who really didn't quite get their first chance, this one is for you! Tucker and Ally starred in a TV show together years earlier and had mutual feelings for each other, that never amounted to anything more than an almost kiss. Years later, their show is getting a holiday reboot... and this time, she's playing the part of his romantic lead- on screen and off. These two had a really cute chemistry and I loved all the shenanigans on the set that kept me laughing out loud. This series really is all about the meddling (which I love!), and this one highlighted that really well! This was a super quick read. At under 100 pages, it can be easily read in just a sitting or two... but it's packed full of holiday fun, romance and just the right sprinkle of holiday magic! This is another super fun addition to this cute series! The Christmas Reboot is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language. It is part of the Letters to Mrs. Claus series, a multi-author series of holiday novellas that can all be enjoyed as standalones as well.
