The Book
Her duty is to the crown. Her heart has other plans.
Princess Freya has spent her life following the rules—until a sharp-tongued, infuriatingly handsome American bodyguard turns her world upside down. With an unprecedented election threatening to shake the monarchy, she’s determined to prove she’s the right ruler for Candora. The last thing she needs is a distraction—especially one who challenges her at every turn and sees right through her carefully composed facade. But the more time she spends with Elliot, the harder it is to ignore the spark between them.
Elliot never planned on playing protector to a princess, let alone one who is stubborn, witty, and far too tempting for his own good. His job is simple: keep Freya safe, keep her out of trouble, and—most importantly—keep things professional. But between royal scandals, political chaos, and a growing attraction that refuses to be ignored, maintaining his distance is getting harder by the day. And when a shocking turn of events threatens everything they both hold dear, Elliot is faced with an impossible choice: duty or desire.
With the future of the monarchy at stake and the world watching their every move, Freya and Elliot must decide—stick to the plan, or risk it all for a love that defies the rules.
Awestruck is a closed door royal romance that’s a standalone story with character connections to the other books in the series. Full of witty banter, forbidden longing, and swoony slow-burn chemistry, it’s perfect for fans of protective heroes, determined princesses, and love that breaks all the rules.

From the start of the series, as we have gotten to know each celebrity in this eclectic friend group, one of that characters that has really intrigued me was Freya, their resident princess. And let's just say, her story might have surprised me in many ways... but it most certainly did not disappoint! I couldn't help but enjoy Elliot and Freya's story right from the start. The dynamic between them was entertaining to read. I love a protective MMC, and bodyguard romances always do that so very well. There were hints of danger and suspense, and a romance that was an ideal slow burn that I couldn't get enough of. In some ways, this story had a hint of some Princess Diaries 2 vibes... and I was absolutely here for it! There was a lot going on in this story--- some unexpected twists I didn't see coming--- and I don't want to give anything away, but trust me, you're going to want to read this one. I've enjoyed every book in the series, but this one might be a new favorite... so far! I cannot wait to see what it going to happen next.Awestruck is a closed-door romance with kisses only and minimal minor language. It is the fourth book in the Starstruck Love Stories series. While those who have read the previous books in the series may have a better understanding of Freya's friendship dynamics, I do believe this could be enjoyed as a standalone as well.
