I was recently given the opportunity to check out an advanced screener before the theatrical release. Oh my goodness... what an absolutely beautiful movie this was! While I have enjoyed the music of both For King + Country and Rebecca St. James, I admittedly knew absolutely nothing about their history or personal lives. In fact, until watching this movie, I hadn't even realized they were siblings. As such, I'm not sure how much of this history was widely known already... but it was new to me at the very least! And I just adored their story. It wasn't an easy one, with many hardships along the way, but I loved seeing God at work throughout the movie. This is just the kind of movie we absolutely need to see more of. I think because it is based on a true story, it makes it all that more powerful too! It's also the perfect movie for the upcoming Mother's Day holiday, as it really does celebrate the unwavering faith of Helen throughout it all.
