Organizing a Christmas fundraiser was not on her agenda. Neither was falling for the small town’s handsome lawyer. But…she did…

Elias Carpenter needs a break, too. Between the demands of his family firm and managing the ice show fundraiser, he’s at the end of his rope. Tasha showing up is the best thing that could’ve happened for him professionally and personally. Now, if only he could convince her to move him out of the friendzone…

When a pesky ghost from Tasha’s past arrives to wreck her present, will she hang onto Elias when it matters most? Or will she let her happily ever after skate away forever?

REVIEW

I love a good Christmas romance. There is just something about the magic of the holidays that make a love story all that much sweeter. The Last Cottage on Pinewood Lane is a great example of that. With a picturesque small town, a cute matchmaking dog and a holiday show to put on, this story had all the elements of an ideal holiday romance... most importantly, the chemistry! From their adorable meet cute, I found myself enjoying Tasha and Elias's romance! They had great chemistry and just went together so wonderfully. Was it a bit predictable at times, as many holiday romances tend to be? Sure! But honestly, that's part of the appeal isn't it? I know it certainly is for me.

As a novella, this story was just the right length for the busy holiday season. Though it was short, it felt complete and not rushed in the slightest. Just the right dose of holiday cheer and holiday romance for me!

If you love a good holiday romance, this is certainly one to check out for the season!
