The Bible Recap Discussion Guide by Tara-Leigh Cobble

*Book received for consideration. All thoughts are my own.

Join others who want to know God better and read His Word with The Bible Recap Discussion Guide. Specially written to spark meaningful conversations, it follows the same chronological reading plan as The Bible Recap podcast and book. Adaptable for a variety of schedules and settings--for example, meeting with a friend or in a small group or Sunday school class--these questions will lead you to a deeper understanding of the Bible's narrative and how God's character is revealed throughout Scripture. Together you'll find that He's where the joy is!

Tara-Leigh Cobble's (www.taraleighcobble.com) is the creator and host of the daily The Bible Recap podcast, which has garnered over 160 million downloads. She is also the founder of D-Group, an international network of more than 300 discipleship and Bible study groups that meet each week, and the host of a daily radio feature called The God Shot. Tara-Leigh lives in Dallas, Texas.

This discussion guide is designed to go along with the same reading plan as The Bible Recap book and podcast. It is one of several optional resources available. While there are other resources that are intended to be used individually such as the journal or study guide, this one is specifically designed with group discussion in mind. Rather than daily reflections, it does weekly. Could you still use these in your own personal study? There is no space to respond to the questions within the guide itself as those other resources offer, but you could certainly still use it on your own. I definitely think readers might get a little more out of it if used as intended though, in large part because I have found that oftentimes these discussions can offer us a different perspective than what we have on our own.

At the start of the guide, we are given the Bible reading plan. It is broken down into daily readings, and done so in a way that actually feels quite doable, I think. Each week in this guide corresponds to the readings from that week. I love how organized and easy to follow this is... it really takes the guesswork out of choosing where to start reading, but also helps us to dive deeper into it as well. I look forward to using The Bible Recap and its resources in the year to come! What a great way to study the Bible!
