MY THOUGHTS

Her Cowboy Wedding Date is the third book in the Three Springs, Texas series. Personally, I had not read the previous books in the series prior to reading this one. While it did read well enough as a standalone, I definitely did feel like I was picking up in the middle of a story and found that it took me a bit longer to get into the story in the beginning as I was trying to sort it all out. I do believe if I had read the first two books, that would not have been the case and I'd have enjoyed it more right from the start. As such, I would certainly recommend reading this series in order to get the most out of it.

That aside, once I established who was who and got over some initial confusion, I found that I actually did really enjoy the romance between Tess and Carter. It was just the type of sweet, cowboy romance that I was expecting with a story that moved quickly and was enjoyable to read. This was a new to me author, but this book definitely had me wanting to read more from her. If you enjoy a sweet romance, this is certainly a series worth checking out.
