More Family Fun with Chuck E. Cheese's New Look {+ Castleton Grand Re-Opening} #ad

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Chuck E. Cheese's. The opinions and text are all mine.

"Where a kid can be a kid."

That's right, today we're talking about the one, the only--- Chuck E. Cheese's!

Let me tell you, my kids absolutely LOVE Chuck E. Cheese's. But then, let's be honest, what kid doesn't? For over 40 years, Chuck E. Cheese's has provided families across the country a safe place where families can enjoy time together with games and foods that kids love!

And now, Chuck E. Cheese's is giving several of it's restaurants a brand new look that will bring even more fun for both kids AND parents too. The new design seeks to highlight the pizza-making process and fresh food and gives the whole place more of a restaurant atmosphere that we as parents can appreciate.

Last week, my local Castleton Chuck E. Cheese's location celebrated their new look with a grand re-opening event that my family and I had the pleasure to attend. We loved the new atmosphere and today I'm excited to share with you all the great new changes:

The Food.

Don't worry, the kid favorite of pizza isn't going anywhere! However, the new look allows us to really get a good look at the pizza making process thanks to new open kitchens. Chuck E. Cheese's pizza is made from scratch daily, and this really allows us to see that firsthand. In addition, the lunch buffet (offered weekdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) is now closer to the kitchen to truly showcase it's fresh ingredients. Yum!

The Look.

As much as our family loves Chuck E. Cheese's, in the past everything was ALL about the kids... even the atmosphere. The restaurant now features a more adult ambiance thanks to the warm wood, neutral tones and streamlined graphics. These work together to create a calmer, more inviting and friendly environment that is sure to appeal to parents. As a parent with a child with sensory issues, I can say that this can be great for the kids too!! We also loved the new booths, again adding to more of that restaurant look and feel.

Adding to the streamline look, self-service kiosks are now available near the restaurant entrance making ordering off the menu quick and simple, and allowing us to just focus on the fun!

Planning a party at Chuck E. Cheese's? The Birthday Zone has been revamped too. It now features various seating options for larger parties designated by the characters of Chuck E.'s band with bold wall silhouettes and character bios. I absolutely loved this new look myself, but for my kids the highlight was definitely the light up dance floor! This fun feature adds in extra fun for the hourly live shows and birthday show too.

The Games.

Oh yes, the real highlight of any Chuck E. Cheese's experience is the games, the tickets and the prizes! With the remodel, our location added nearly a dozen new games that my kids loved playing--- while keeping many of the old favorites we enjoyed too.

What has changed however is the way we play thanks to their new, programmable 'tap to play' Play Pass game card system. Gone are the coins from our own childhoods! Points can now be added to a card (or bracelet) that kids simply tap on each game to play. Much easier for kids to keep track of, right?

In addition they have introduced All You Can Play for even more fun! Rather than game points, All You Can Play allows us to purchase a time limit. During that time, kids have free reign to play all the games they want. This means more games! More games means more tickets and more tickets means more or better prizes! For kids, that's the ultimate payoff... choosing their prizes to keep the fun going at home!
