With such an impressive body of work behind him, needless to say, I've come to expect a lot from each album. This one certainly did not disappoint! Each song was absolutely beautiful, perfect for taking the time out of my day--- whatever I might be doing, and singing praises to God.
My favorite song on the album was definitely 'Resurrection Power':

Freedom. No longer bound by sin and darkness. I think as Christians, we all know this message very well...but I don't about you, sometimes I need to hear those words. Over and over again. This song is a great way to do just that.
The title song of the album is amazing too... and truly speaks to the album as a whole.

What a beautifully sentiment that is! Lifting our voices up. Singing his praises. Laying it all out in worship. Oh what a sound that must be to Him, to hear our voices lifted TOGETHER. I think about the worship experience at church when I hear these words- my personal favorite part of the service. It doesn't matter who can sing and who cannot... that's not what matters. It's that we don't let that fear of what others might say about our voices keep us from singing it out anyway... that's when true worship happens. A holy roar. What a beautiful portrayal.
