Healed By Grace 2 Coming Soon To DVD {+ A #HealedByGrace2L3 Giveaway}

**Movie received for consideration. All thoughts are 100% my own.

To be honest, I spend more time looking for something to watch than I actually spend watching whatever it is I decide on.

It's certainly not for lack of looking, but it seems that these days finding movies or even TV shows that I can be 100% comfortable watching with my children around is a tough job. I don't just mean things that we can watch together, but things I can enjoy on my own and know that if the kids walk in, they won't be hearing or seeing anything they shouldn't be. I am always on the hunt for great movies that I can feel good about watching. Today, I'm sharing one such movie 'Healed By Grace 2':

Jesse is approaching her 15th birthday and the only gift she desires is a horse. Unbeknownst to Jesse, her mother Brandy is in the throes of a cancer diagnosis which has Jesse’s father jumping through unexpected obstacles.  He signs Jesse up for summer camp, but when summer camp falls through he decides to have her stay with her estranged grandfather, an old gruff horse trainer named Gauff. Gauff, still recovering from the death of a special horse named Grace, now faces the challenges of teen negotiation. Gauff finds he must swallow his pride and ask his daughter Brandy for forgiveness.  A humorous and inspiring story of how God’s grace works in mysterious ways.

If you're looking for something filled with action and adventure, this might not be the movie for you, but if you're looking for a feel good inspirational movie, this is certainly it. To be honest, the movie starts out a little slow--- giving us a feel of all of the characters. We meet Jesse, a girl obsessed with horses, though she only dreams of them. We meet Gauff, a tough horse trainer estranged from his family, who had just said goodbye to his beloved horse grace. And we meet Brandy, Jesse's mother and Gauff's daughter, who has just been given the news of cancer from her doctor.

The family had intended to send Jesse away to camp while her mother underwent medical testing, but found that the camp was completely full. Unbeknownst to his wife, Jesse's dad plans to send her to stay instead with her grandfather on his horse farm. And this is where our story begins.

Now, I don't want to give too much away, but this is a fantastic movie. It's a story about family, of reconciliation and of course: horses! There's something about horse movies that make for great inspirational stories, isn't there? It is filled with humor, love and truly a great message of faith.

If you have a young daughter (tween aged) who loves horses, they might find this movie right up their alley, but younger kids aren't likely to be fans. Again, it's just not super fast paced or upbeat as that age group tends to prefer. Still, there is no language or inappropriate themes, so while it might not quite capture their interests just yet, it IS safe for them to watch.

Haven't seen Healed By Grace yet? No problem. To be honest, I hadn't either and while I do plan to watch it in the future to see what I had missed, I do feel like this movie stood alone just fine on its own.
