Do you love coloring?

If you're like myself and so many others, you have once again fallen back in love with a favorite childhood pastime: coloring!

What's not to love, right? It's relaxing. It eases stress. It allows us to be more creative. And in this technologically driven world, it's also a great break from screen-time too. That goes for adults and kids alike. Many days, I love nothing more than coloring with my daughter--- I grab my adult coloring books and pens for myself, while she plays in her more kid friendly books with crayons. It's a simple, quiet activity that we can both enjoy.

Today I'm sharing an all new coloring book that makes that time together even easier, The Big & Little Coloring Devotional:

Kids crave constant activities and attention. Adults crave quiet moments of refreshment. How can we achieve both? Big and Little Coloring Devotional engages adults minds with appealing biblical devotionals while providing a creative outlet through coloring to diffuse stress.
Lets have fun with our children through coloring and facilitate their spiritual growth with Scripture. Big and Little Coloring Devotional will incorporate physical, spiritual, and emotional refreshment by providing authentic faith-filled devotionals combined with therapeutic doodling for both the adult and child.

What a great idea, right? One coloring book that we can BOTH love...and color in at the same time. On one side is the child version and right across from that is the adult version. The pages are similar in themes and styles, but as the name suggests they offer something different for everyone. The adult side has those intricate styles we've come to expect in our favorite adult coloring books. The pages feature a short devotional to read as we release from our every day stresses through the art of coloring. The child's side matches the theme, but gives simpler pages that are more kid friendly. I will say however, they aren't TOO simple. They still have some of those details that are more commonly seen in adult books, but on a slightly larger, easier to color scale. My newly-5-year-old daughter has no issues with it (though she is pretty good at coloring for her age), but it could still be suitable for a tween as well.

What I love most about this coloring book is that it's not just coloring NEXT to each other, but truly being together. We can read the devotional and spend time with God as mother and daughter, and create art at the same time. In the end, we can even display our coordinating pages together too.

If you're looking for a fun way to spend more devotional time with you child, this is a fantastic way to do so. The Big and Little Coloring Devotional is available to purchase now at your favorite Christian book retailers.
