Easy Handprint Spider {A Kids Craft}

Are you getting into the spooky Halloween spirit? We certainly are in my home! My daughter especially is enjoying all the spooky decor she sees when we are out and about. So, of course, I could not wait to bring a little Halloween spirit into our home too! Today, I'm sharing one way we are doing that with a simple paper craft for kids.

Easy Handprint Spider

  • Black Construction Paper or Cardstock
  • Glue
  • White Crayon/Chalk
  • Scissors
  1. On the black paper, trace your child's handprint. (You can use a white crayon or chalk to make this more visible.) Make two.
  2. Cut out the handprints.
  3. Overlap the two palms so that the fingers serve as legs, glue. Trim off the thumbs.
  4. Draw on a face (Alternately you can use googly eyes or construction paper shapes for cutting and gluing practice.)

That's it! Another super simple craft that your little one will love! Make several and hand from the ceiling for a truly spooky event!
