Do you remember your baby's first real pair of shoes?

I certainly remember my daughters! You see, for the longest time, we had trouble finding the right pair to fit her feet. She had an odd foot size, they were small in length, but quite tall and chubby. We'd find some that fit in length, but they would be too tight a squeeze for the height. We could size up to get them on her feet, but then they'd be several sizes too big. So mostly, she did without.

When she started to walk more, we knew that we needed to come up with a solution. That was when we discovered Pediped...and more specifically, the Pediped Flex. This unique systems allowed us to find the perfect fit for my daughter.

So, what's the Pediped Flex Fit System?

With the Flex Fit System™, each pair of pediped Flex® closed-toe shoes comes with an additional 2 millimeter insole to customize the fit of the shoe so it is just right for each child. These insoles can reduce a shoe size by almost half a size.

To use, simply lift the colored insole that comes inside the shoe and place the white additional insole underneath. Afterward, be sure to replace the original insole as this will be the layer next to your child’s foot. Check the fit: shoes should fit snug, but not tight. When there is no need for the extra white insole, simply take it out and use the original insole by itself. This insole should remain in the shoe at all times to ensure comfort for your child.

Not only did this allow us to find the best fit possible, it also helped those same shoes fit longer! With rapidly growing baby feet, this was certainly a plus!! So, as my daughter has continued to grow, Pediped shoes have continued to be our top pick for her!


But it's not just the fit that make them last, it's the quality too. I don't know about your kids, but mine are rough on shoes! They need their shoes to be able to keep up with the playing they put them through- especially in the warm spring and summer months that allow them to spend more time outside.
