**Book received for review. All thoughts are my own.

A few weeks ago, my kids and I made a trip to our local theater to watch the new Peanuts movie. Have you had the chance to see it yet? I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive about it! We loved the originals and I was afraid that it just wouldn't live up to our expectations. Still, my son was super excited and insisted we buy tickets...so to the theater we went! And despite my hesitations, all three of us loved the movie! The animation may have looked a lot different, but everything we loved about the original comics and movie were still there.

And truly, what's not to love? The characters are fun and in their own ways relateable. (Who doesn't feel like a Charlie Brown on occasion?) The illustrations are adorable. The stories are just good stories. There are no negative messages, no inappropriate innuendos, it is simply good clean entertainment that all ages through all generations can enjoy! Snoopy knows no age!

It should come as no surprise that Snoopy is beloved across generations- he's been around for 65 years!!! Through the years, he may have seen some changes, but at the heart he's still the same ol' beagle we've all grown up with!

But for the super fan, wouldn't it great if there was a way they could take a look at all that amazing history in one place? That is just what you get with The Snoopy Treasures:

The Snoopy Treasures is divided into 12 sections covering Snoopy’s origins, his alter egos from Joe Cool to the Flying Ace, his family at the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm, his friends in the beloved Peanuts gang, and his prevalence in pop culture – in songs, movies, books, plays, parades, museums, and even NASA, who named a lunar landing module after him as they prepared to put man on the moon in 1969.

Each page features original Peanuts panels, side-by-side comparisons showing the evolution of Snoopy into the universally recognizable style we know today, photographs from the Schulz museum, and ten pieces of pullout memorabilia: an original Schulz drawing, a Snoopy baseball pennant (popular dorm décor in the 60s and 70s), a letter from President Ronald Reagan to Schulz, a bookmark, a bumper sticker, a punch out model of the Red Baron’s plane, the last Peanuts strip ever printed, and more.

Lifelong fans and first-timers alike will discover something new within the pages of this in-depth compendium, making The Snoopy Treasures the perfect holiday gift for Snoopy lovers of all ages.

If you are a Snoopy mega fan- or if you have one on your holiday shopping list, you HAVE to see this book! It is packed full with anything and everything you ever wanted to know about Snoopy throughout the years! Every fan is going to love reading more about him! But, that's not even the best part... not only can you read about the history...you can see and experience it too with the included memorabilia. These fun replicas of pennants and comics and posters are so much fun and truly perfect for every Snoopy collector young and old!!
