Summer is over! It's time to get back to school!
As every mom knows, the transition from a carefree summer to a structured school day can be rough. Kids need a little extra encouragement to get them through their days! But how do you encourage your kids when you cannot physically be there?
One really fun way I like to encourage my son throughout the day is to surprise him with a special treat in his lunchbox. Lunch comes at just about the right time where kids truly need that little extra pick me up. Nothing lets our children know that we're thinking of them more than a surprise note of encouragement tucked inside their lunchbox. These can be as simple as an 'I love you' or a favorite Bible verse, or as personal as a note wishing them good luck on their spelling test later that day.
Have you ever been having a rough day when you received a phone call or a text message from a friend just to say they had thought of you? Didn't it make that day just a little bit brighter? It is truly such a small, simple gesture but just like an unexpected call from a friend can cheer us up, a note from you can make your child's day that much better!
To help you send your little one off to school on a positive note, I've created these fun lunchbox encouragements that you can print off and use yourself! I've even included a blank note for your to customize yourself!

When our children know that we love them and are thinking of them, and are reminded that they are also loved by God, it will help give them the confidence to get through their day and do their absolute best!

ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time, I didn't have a lunchbox. I had school suppers. In any case, there were kids with some fabulous lunchboxes that fused all the best depiction of the time - kid's shows that securely fall into the retro classification these days.bento box buy
