When we think of creating a greener kitchen, the first thought that comes to mind is eating healthier, right? Clean eating, organic foods, non-GMOs...we put a lot of thought about what goes INTO our bodies. But what about what we put those foods on- our plates, cups, silverware, etc. What ways can we find to make these greener? Well, when it comes to kids tableware Re-Play offers a great green alternative.

Re-Play is a division of Re-Think It, Inc., a family owned, family-focused company. They are manufactured, assembled and tested in the USA...in fact, they're made from recycled milk jugs! How's that for green? It truly is a better option for parents looking to live a greener life! The Re-Think It brand strives to fulfill 5 Tenets of Responsibility that they feel are most important:

Sustainability: Re-Play uses curbside collected HDPE plastic! They use minimal packaging made from recycled paperboard. All of their plants are in such close proximity that the total miles Re-Play travels from recycled to finished product is 940 miles. To put that into perspective, most plastic goods made in China travel over 12,000 miles! Re-Play doesn't just talk about sustainability...they actually practice it!

Safety: We are always hearing about the dangers of plastic these days, right? Thankfully, you can feel safe allowing your little ones to eat with Re-Play. The plastic used is specially selected and cleaned to meet FDA's purity standards and then each finished product line undergoes third-party testing to ensure that all products truly DO meet those standards. Pretty impressive, right?

Durability: Just a quick look and feel of Replay tableware would reveal the durability! They're solid, thick and seemingly indestructible. In fact, they even say you can run over the divided plates with no harm. Now, I'm not going to test this out myself because, well, our driveaway is covered in snow at the moment, but I would certainly believe it! They're also dishwasher safe and non-fading, which is great because the colors are fantastic!

Functionality: Have you ever picked up a sippy cup that said 'no-spill' only to discover no-spill really meant...well, you don't know what, but certainly spillable! Frustrating, isn't it? But the Re-Play No Spill valve truly is no spill! They designed each piece with young eaters in mind, with the goal of making self feeding more successful.

Affordability: Now, perhaps you're reading this and thinking they sound amazing, but they must come with a pretty hefty price tag, right? Wrong! To be honest, I was shocked when I discovered just how inexpensive these products actually were! A package of two divided plates? Just $5.99! Set of three drinking glasses? $5.99!!  Set of two sippy cups? $7.99! Set of 2 bowls? Just $4.99! They truly are affordable for every family!

So, what did we think? We absolutely loved them! High quality, inexpensive and absolutely adorable! I love their bright colors...making mealtime more fun for little ones! You can have everything matching, go for a rainbow assortment or pick a few great colors that coordinate well with your adult tableware. To be honest, I'm finding myself wanting to completely clear out the rest of out kids dinnerware and replace it with Re-Play! It's as great for my 18 month old, as it is for my 7 year old! And did I mention they stack easily? If you have an already overstocked kitchen, this is certainly a plus!

Honestly, I cannot say enough great things about these products...but don't just take my word for it, check out everything they have to offer and connect at the links below:
