The Power of Words: The Beauty of Grace Review {#FCBlogger}

**Product received for review. All thoughts are my own.

Isn't is amazing how God can use even the simplest of things to touch our lives and our hearts just when we need it? Perhaps it comes in the form of your pastor's sermon which seemed as though it was written for your current life circumstance. Perhaps it comes in the form of a song on the radio or a much needed call from a friend. Perhaps it comes from a Bible verse or even a blog post that was just what you needed to hear that morning.

Words are pretty powerful, aren't they? Just the right words at the right time can turn our whole day around.

Or perhaps you're more visual. Perhaps its a photograph of a beautiful sunset to remind you of the beauty of God's creation. Perhaps a sweet picture of a newborn baby reminds you of the goodness in life when things are going wrong.

Whether you're moved by the written (or spoken) word or a stunning photograph, we all need a little encouragement and inspiration in our day to day lives. The new book, The Beauty of Grace, combines both to provide just that. Take a look:

In this hectic life, we all need a little peace, a little quiet, and a little beauty. Combining heartfelt stories from some of today's foremost writers and bloggers with stunning photography of God's incredible creation,
The Beauty of Grace is a haven of calm contemplation amidst the chaos.

This uplifting collection includes moving stories of cultivating friendship, waiting on God, choosing joy, staying connected, and more from popular writers such as Jessica Turner, Lisa-Jo Baker, Holley Gerth, Ann Voskamp, Bonnie Gray, Tsh Oxenreider, Leeana Tankersley, Emily Freeman, Margaret Feinberg, and many others. Each story is accompanied by an uplifting Scripture verse, and the book includes Dawn's stunning photos. Foreword by Holley Gerth.

Do those names sound familiar? They certainly were for me. Some of these women were already my favorite bloggers, with posts delivered directly to my email each and every day. Others were some of my favorite writers, whose books already adorned my bookshelf. One of them (Holly Gerth) even provides words of inspiration throughout my day to day life with the home decor featured throughout my own home. These are women who I admire for their faith and heart...and whom have often been the provider of those words I needed, just when I needed them. In fact, most have been contributors for my absolute favorite blog- (in)courage.

The thing I love about (in)courage as a blog was that sense of community. It features stories from women of all different backgrounds. Women who are not perfect, but who lift one another up. It is a place of community, of faith and of friendship. The Beauty of Grace takes everything I love about (in)courage and put them into book form.

It features useful categories of stories on topics like purpose, the big picture, surrender, trust, lessons learned, hope and encouragement and worship. You can read every story in order, if you'd like...but the beauty of this book is that you don't have to. You can choose the category that you need on that given day and read a story or two there, you can read from beginning to end. You can read one story a day, or all in one sitting. The stories are short, which is great for those days when you just don't have a ton of time to read (as a mother, I know that feeling) and ideal to toss into your purse when you know you'll have those moments of waiting. And with photos from Dawn Camp shared throughout, it's as beautiful to look at as it is to read!

If you love (in)courage, you will love The Beauty of Grace. If you love the individual writers, you will love The Beauty of Grace. If you love great stories of God's love and  beautiful photography, you will love The Beauty of Grace. Truly, this book is a great addition to any book collection and is sure to provide you with encouragement and inspiration in the midst of life's chaos!
