Support The Troops with Mission Foods

As a military wife, supporting our troops is of course a cause very near to my heart, and I am always excited to see companies showing their support, not just in words, but in action. So today, I am excited to share with you Mission's 100,000 Acts of Service- a new campaign launching TODAY from Mission Foods in support of the Wounded Warrior Project, a wonderful organization that provides support and services to injured service members and their families.

The campaign is simple- Mission Food is asking fans to submit photos, stories, and ideas of ways they support veterans in their communities on their Facebook page at http://facebook.com/mission. For every submission received, Mission Foods will donate $1 to the Wounded Warrior Project, up to $100,000!! This donation is on top of the more than $250,000 they have donated throughout the rest of the year!! At the campaigns close, the highlights will be available in a downloadable e-book!
Today, Independence Day, is a day that many of us take time to think about the troops and show them our support. This campaign is a great way to share how you are showing your support both today, and throughout the year, while raising money for a great cause! So, how DO you show your support? Do you buy a meal for a service member and their family? Offer help to a young mom whose husband has just deployed? Send care packages to deployed troops? Whatever it is...head on over to Mission Food's Facebook page and share your stories!!

And from one military wife to you, thank you for whatever it is you do, no matter how small...it truly does mean a lot!

**Disclosure: This is a sponsored post, however, I only promote companies and organizations that I truly stand behind. All thoughts are 100% my own. No monetary compensation was received.
