The Book
Question: what do you do when your ex-best friend (and almost-boyfriend) who chose a music career over you five years ago is back in your shared hometown for the holiday season? Oh, and his mother tasked him with helping you put on a Christmas scavenger hunt meant to encourage locals to stop and smell the pine needles?
Answer: Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la Friend Zone.
It’s the only way. Because here’s the thing: Gabe McKenzie and I aren’t meant to be. I crave stability and somewhere I truly belong, and his life takes him on the road to new cities every weekend. That’s the definition of volatile.
But the more time we spend together—dodging snowflakes and petting reindeer, roasting marshmallows and singing carols—the more I wonder if the home I’ve been longing for isn’t just a place to put down roots.
What if home is a person? And what if Gabe was always meant to be mine?

Book Review
It doesn't matter what the story is about, if Leah Dobrinska writes it, I'm going to love it. This cozy Christmas romance was just the latest example. From the moment we met Gabe and Beth, I adored their friendship that was on the verge of turning into something more... until it wasn't. First of all, I love a good musician romance so that definitely drew me in... and then you throw in these two ex-best friends tasked with putting together a small-town Christmas scavenger hunt? Yes, please! This story had so many elements that I love... all blended together to create this really fun story that was so perfect for the holiday season. It was cozy, it was swoon-worthy, it felt like Christmas and home... and I absolutely adored it! If you're looking for your next great holiday romance, don't miss this one!The Christmas Dash is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language.
