Don't Blink by Jordan Riley: Book Review

**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.

The Book

Go back to where it began: a young Leonard and Maureen falling in love, long before Jesse, Cody, Mason, and Addison came along. Watch the courtship, the marriage, and the early years that built the foundation for everything the Jennings family would become.

Then come back to now. Thirty-seven years of marriage. Four grown children with families of their own. A legacy that filled four books and a small town’s worth of love stories.

Don’t Blink is both a prequel and a sequel. It’s the story that started it all, and the one that finishes it.

Book Review

I have enjoyed The Jennings Family series from book one, so while it's a bit sad to see the series ending, this truly was the perfect way to end it. Not only do we get to go back to the 90s and see where it all started with Leonard and Maureen's love story, it also brings us into current day and wraps up the series as a whole. Their story was sweet and a bit nostalgic, making me both smile and tear up during different parts of the story... all the while showing us a family that may not always get it all right, but clearly love each other and love God. This is a quick read but truly was a great ending to this sweet series.

Don't Blink is a closed-door Christian romance with fade to black and no language. It is the fifth and final book in The Jennings Family series. While you may still be able to enjoy it as a standalone, it's definitely going to be appreciated most by those who already know and love this family.
