Book Review

When I pick up a book written (or co-written, as the case may be) by Susan May Warren, I always know I am in for quite an adventure. This one was certainly no exception. This is the third book in the Summer Rangers series, and I have to be honest... I had not read the previous two books! However, while I could definitely tell that there were some dynamics there that I could have had a better feel for had I read those earlier books, I still found myself enjoying this one just the same. (That being said, if you do want to get the most out of it, definitely go back and read those others!) Right from the start I found myself drawn into the adventure and danger of this story... I don't know the first thing about climbing, and yet, I found myself feeling like I was right there with these characters. I was at the edge of my seat, anxious to see how it was all going to play out. Both Teague and Eden had experienced similar losses in their life, and it was really interesting to see how differently their grief played out in this story... but within that, there was also a beautiful sense of healing and relying on God as well. Their story was a great blend of danger, romance and faith... and I absolutely adored it.
