Throughout the years, I've had the opportunity to review many Bibles and as such have always thought I had a pretty good idea of all the various options out there. But about a month or so ago, my son had a request that truly stumped me. He wanted a Bible that was compact for easy carrying. I showed him several thinner options, but nothing was quite right. It turns out that he actually wanted one that would truly fit in his pocket for easy transport.
To be honest, I wasn't sure such a thing existed.

While I was excited to check it out, I've got to admit that I was skeptical that it would a) be the Bible in its entirety or b) actually be as small as the name suggested. From the moment I opened the package, I was impressed! From Genesis to Revelations, it was all there. Yes, the font is smaller than I would typically prefer, but still very much readable as well. And the size? Truly pocket-sized! It's about as big as my hand (and I have rather small, childlike hands). It's the perfect size to carry to church without feeling weighed down or to keep in your purse to always have on hand. My son appreciated the size and portability, but he wasn't the only one. My daughter has already requested the pink version to keep in her backpack, and even my husband expressed interest in one of his own too.
In addition to it's unique size though, I also love that this one is Filament enabled, so you can scan the pages in the app to discover maps, study tools and even an audio Bible as well. Truly, this is a great Bible and one that is already a hit in my household.
