Book Review

Oh, what a beautiful holiday read! Every time I pick up a book by Sarah Sundin, I know I am in for a treat. Each one is so well researched, taking me to a different time and place, and I love discovering all these different aspects of WWII with each new story. Despite its shorter length, this holiday novella was no different. I loved this story of the USO and old Hollywood with just the right amount of holiday cheer mixed in. I very quickly found myself drawn into these characters' lives. As mentioned, this was novella length- making it a perfect shorter read for the busy holiday season- but it didn't feel like it was rushed or missing anything. There was so much growth and redemption packed into these pages, and I found myself intrigued from start to finish. This is truly a great holiday read that fans of Christian WWII romance are sure to want to add to their TBR.
