The Book
He wants to prove he’s more than a pretty face with a trust fund…
NHL rookie Archibald Fisher is wealthy, handsome, and appears to live a charmed life without a care in the world.
But behind closed doors, Fisher’s pretentious family treats him like a liability. A problem to fix rather than a person. And when his granddad passes away, he’s given an ultimatum: Get married, or say goodbye to every penny of his inheritance.
His family thinks it’s a foolproof plan to control their rebellious youngest son...but they clearly don’t know him very well.
…She’s fighting to save everything she loves
Lila Chen practically grew up in San Francisco’s historic firehouse turned art collective. Her fellow artists are like family to her, especially since her mom passed away.
So when she discovers the firehouse is going to be destroyed by Fisher Group, Lila is desperate to save the only home she has left. But after multiple dead-end attempts, she’s running out of hope.
Until Archibald Fisher shows up with a proposal she can’t refuse…
Their marriage was meant to be on paper only, until real feelings creep in. But new love is fragile, and between Lila’s secrets and threats from the Fisher family, there might be no way to stop it from shattering…

Book Review
What a great ending to this fun series! I've enjoyed every book in the series, so throwing in a marriage of convenience (a favorite of mine) to close it out... perfect! One of the things I love about both of these authors is the sass and humor they bring to their stories... and this one truly did showcase that really well. There were so many moments that had me laughing out loud throughout. But there were also many moments throughout that hurt my heart for both Fisher and Lila and all they had been through... Fisher's family... ugh... I am not a fan. But the sense of found family in both this story and the series as a whole was beautifully done. These are definitely characters you'll find yourself wanting to root for. If you love hockey romance and found family with lots of sass, this is definitely one worth checking out.Rebel Season is a fade-to-black romance with moderate language. While nothing explicit happens on the pages, there is a lot of innuendo/talk about sex and some of the kisses do get steamier with clothes coming off before fading to black, etc. If you've read either authors' previous solo works, know that the language and heat level are definitely higher in this particular series and may not be for all closed-door readers. This is the third and final book in the series, and while I think those who've read the rest of the series will enjoy this most, I do think it could be enjoyed as a standalone.
