Morgan Taylor Giesbrecht fell in love with fictional realms at a young age and quickly began writing tales of her own--full of hope, brave living in a dark world, and unexpected love stories for the crusty romantics (like herself). She’s a hobbit at heart (but not in height) with deep roots in the past, who loves the occasional adventure, accidentally talks in a British accent on occasion, and has the dry humour to match. When she isn’t writing or reading a book on her never ending to-be-read list, she can be found drinking copious amounts of tea, rewatching comfort shows for the umpteenth time, hanging out with family and friends, reorganising her bookshelves, or playing Christmas music year-round. British Columbia, Canada is the place she calls home, nestled in the foothills.

Book Review

Redemption and second chances in an autumn hockey romance...need I say anything more? There's something about the way Morgan Taylor Giesbrecht tells a story that has a warmth and feeling of coming home and family, which I have really loved about the previous books in this series, and with its fall vibes and Noelle's actual homecoming, that is certainly true for this story as well.  Seriously, I just adored Cal and Noelle's story so much. Second chance romance are some of my very favorites... I love the history that it offers, I love the healing, and I love that reminder that sometimes it's not the wrong person, but the wrong time... all of the things that this story displayed so beautifully. The connection between Cal and Noelle was undeniable, and while they certainly had some past hurts to work through, I love how natural their reconnection felt. Their story was tender and heartfelt, with so many great moments of both faith and laughter mixed in (many of those laughs courtesy of team chats and the adorably sweet Khia), and I absolutely couldn't get enough. As someone who struggles with chronic pain/illness, I also found myself relating to Noelle in that way and appreciated seeing that represented so well. I have loved every single visit to Serenity Springs, but this one just might be my new favorite... so far. 

Falling Back to You is a faith-filled romance with kisses only and no language. It is the third book in The Reluctant Romantics series, but I do believe it could be enjoyed as a standalone as well.
