Tracy Baack connects with readers through relatable romance. She enjoys writing character-driven contemporary romance novels with so much character depth and development, you just might think they're real people. Her books are always closed-door but full of heart-melting swoon, and they end happily ever after (after a little dose of angst).

Her books include the "Love and Other..." series, the "Christmas in Noel" series, and "The Kansas City Crowns" baseball series (with more on the way because she just might be a writing addict).

Tracy lives with her husband and four children in Kansas, where she loves supporting local indie bookstores. Her primary love language is finding the perfect GIF for any moment.

Book Review

Oh my goodness! I loved the first book in this series, so I definitely went into this one with high expectations. I am happy to say that not only did this one meet those expectations, but it also far exceeded them. Adrian and Sam... these two just completely stole my heart. Neither had an easy past, and Sam particularly had a lot of trauma from her childhood that had impacted her relationships that she needed to work through. I loved how Adrian was so gentle and patient with her. He didn't always get things right the first time, but he was willing to learn and grow for her... and there's something really beautiful about that. Their chemistry was great, of course, and those Spanish nicknames, oooh, I loved them (I don't speak Spanish, so it was fun to discover the meaning right along with Sam) ... but it was the tenderness and caring that I loved most of all. This is definitely one that had me reaching for the tissues on more than one occasion. If you love baseball romance and emotional reads with healing, this is one you absolutely don't want to miss! 

Run Home is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language. It is the second book in the Kansas City Crowns series, and while you might have a better understanding of Sam and Griffin's family dynamic, I do think you could probably enjoy this one as a standalone as well.
