Trace the Word with the NKJV New Testament, Tracing Edition {+Enter to Win} #NewTestamentTracingMIN #TraceTheWord #MomentumInfluencerNetwork

Many thanks to Thomas Nelson Bibles/HCCP for providing a sample of the product for this review. Opinions are 100% my own.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to review a LOT of great Bibles. While they all have different aspects that make them great, they generally tend to fall into a few basic categories: study, devotional, journaling, coloring, etc. These are all great for different types of learners, but today I'm excited to share a Bible that is truly unlike any I've seen in the past: the NKJV New Testament, Tracing Edition. Take a look:

Write God’s Word into your heart by tracing Scripture verse-by-verse through the New Testament. For years, scientists have connected handwriting with improved learning. Designed for a unique, devotional experience, the NKJV New Testament, Tracing Edition pro vides an opportunity to read and write through the beautiful gospel and promises of the New Testament from Matthew to Revelation. This special edition has lightly printed text allowing you to trace the words of Scripture easily. Wide margins and a clean, single-column typesetting complete the intentional design. Chapter headings are printed regularly for easy navigation, or you can engage more deeply using the included tracing themes and reading plans on love, hope, grace, comfort, peace, eternal life, anxiety, spiritual gifts, community, heaven, Holy Spirit, and faith.

 Features include:

 • Lightly printed text in a clean single-column typesetting

 • Substantial 60gsm paper ideal for writing

 • Topical reading plans included: love, hope, grace, comfort, peace, eternal life, anxiety, spiritual gifts, community, heaven, Holy Spirit, and faith

 • Wide outer margins for notes

 • Chapter headings for easy navigation

 • NKJV translation: Beautiful. Trustworthy. Today.

 • Clear and readable 17-point type

I am a big supporter of physically writing things down. I love a physical calendar, handwritten lists and taking handwritten notes as I study my Bible. For me, I definitely find that I retain information better when I have taken the time to actually write it out by hand, not typed, not simply reading, but actually writing it out. So, the idea of writing out scripture as I've heard of so many doing just makes sense to me. After all, I can think of no more important words to commit to memory than scripture! And having a whole New Testament Bible with the specific purpose of tracing? Even better!

I was recently given the chance to check out one of these Bibles for myself, and I have to say, I am impressed. The gray version that I received is absolutely beautiful, of course, but functionality is where it really sticks out. The font is large enough to be easily read and traced... without being so large it makes the book too large to carry. Being left-handed myself, I also really appreciated the design of the spine that allows it to lay flatter too. This makes things so much more comfortable for us left-handed people! A definite plus!

Overall, this is just a really great Bible, and I find myself excited to find a new way to deepen my scripture reading through both reading AND writing.
