**The Epic Stand-alone Finale**

Born into a legacy, Eliana must find her own brand of justice.

After moving to Chicago to work at the mysterious Shrine museum, Eliana is determined to uncover the family secrets she’s never been told. When she stumbles upon her first ever dead body, everyone around her believes she should try and solve the murder. But taking cases isn’t what she came here for. Despite her plans, things are about to turn far more sinister, and the path she’s on seems determined to drag her back into a nightmare.

Chicago PD Officer Carlos Ryson was born into a legacy of his own. He’s here to look for his missing sister, Luci, and wants to enlist Eliana’s help. This is a family problem, and only family working together can solve it. But Eliana has never forgotten the way Carlos shredded her heart. If he wants them to team up, he’ll have to confront the damage he did and find a way to repair it.

While the city around them descends into a chaos that resembles the end times, someone has seized the opportunity to get what they want from the Shrine. Only Eliana stands in their way, but if she’s going to figure this out she’ll need to trust that the people around her have her back.

Before it’s too late.

Now Until Forever is the stand-alone finale to the Brand of Justice series, and is set in the near-future. It features a happily ever after romance mixed with high-stakes suspense in this gripping crime fiction story.

Author Interview

Welcome, Lisa! Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions and giving my readers a chance to get to know you and your new book Now Until Forever

Thank you so much for having me on the blog! I’m so excited to talk about Now Until Forever, and me, and share in this new release!

Can you share 5 random facts about yourself that we won’t find in your bio?
I wear shoes as little as possible. I like tea and coffee equally. I have houseplants that I’ve kept alive. I’d rather be outside than inside. I love to read epic historical style fantasy books.

When did you first discover you had a passion for writing?
Back in Bible College it was suggested to me that I was a writer – this was the first I’d heard of it! After getting married I explored courses and conferences for authors and I was hooked!

What drew you to writing suspense?
I started reading Christian fiction in college, and as soon as I read Terri Blackstock’s Cape Refuge series, I knew that was what I wanted to write!

As a suspense writer, what is the most incriminating thing we’d find in your search history?
That’s a fun question! The most incriminating thing you’d find is me asking what twenty-five thousand divided by five is. *hides* I incriminate myself with how much I ask simple math questions I should probably know the answer to! But in my defense, I’ve probably written a lot of words already that day, and I need to figure out my daily word count goal for the rest of the week!

You have written over 80 books throughout your writing career, where do you continue to find inspiration?
I honestly have more ideas than I have time to write! But my author friends are great at helping me keep things fresh. Shout out to Jennifer Pierce, Kate Angelo, and Kelly Underwood! They’re great at helping me come up with amazing ways to tell stories and fun things to include – which usually involve someone suggesting either tacos, or bears.

What was the most challenging part of bringing this story to life?
Now Until Forever is set 25 years in the future, but I knew I didn’t want to write some crazy futuristic technology story – so I created a scenario where there’s actually less technology not more. It’s the future I’d much rather live in, so I wrote that (though, I could do without the crazy crime parts and the danger). Catching readers up quickly on what has happened in the world in the last 25 years and doing it fast so I could get to the actual story was a tough part of writing it, but at its heart Now Until Forever is a classic Brand of Justice style story that I hope rounds out the series well.

The most rewarding?
Telling Eliana’s faith journey, watching her find strength in God, in who she is, and in the people around her, was the most rewarding part of writing this story. We can teach our children the best we can and raise them to understand who God is and where they fit in the world, but each person has to go out on their own and discover the answers for themselves. We all need to step out in faith and see how the Lord carries us through all things as we walk the path he sets before us.

If you could describe your main character(s) in just three words each, what would those words be?
Eliana: resilient, tentative, determined

Carlos: loyal, steadfast, determined

What do you hope readers will take away from the book?

My hope is that readers will take away that God has a path for each of us. It’s usually not what we think, and it won’t always be easy, but it is good. He is sovereign over all of it—no matter how crazy the world gets.
