The Author
Tomi’s publishing journey began in 2020 with the release of her debut novel, Dancing With a Royal. Although she’s always loved writing fictional stories, Tomi’s background is in academic writing. She holds an MA degree in History and is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in the same subject.
In her rare free time, Tomi enjoys figure skating and hunting for new pumpkin flavored foods to try. It’s one of the many reasons fall is her favorite season.
Tomi is a California native where she resides with her family and one very spoiled cat.
Book Review
What a fun start to the Peppermint Playbook novella series! Each book in this multi-author series features an athlete (from various sports) finding love in the week before Christmas... and up first we have Chloe- a figure skater finding love with her best friend's older brother. Their reuniting got off to a messy start, but I couldn't help but love the chemistry between these two! It was really sweet, and I really enjoyed seeing those glimpses of their history as well. Best friend's brother happens to be a favorite trope of mine, and I especially love stories like this one where the best friend not only supports the relationship but even offers a little matchmaking to help it along too (as was my own experience in real life)! Their story was fun and filled with just the right amount of holiday cheer. It's a quick read and one that truly is perfect for the busy holiday season! If you enjoy sports romance and festive reads, this a cute series you'll want to add to your holiday TBR.Jingle Blades is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language.
