How to Fall for a Cowboy by Cassandra Joelle: Book Review

**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.

The Book

She's Glossy Nails. He's Flakey Crust. The Pact? Half-Baked.

In the town of Maple Haven, Wyoming, Autumn isn't just a season- it's a celebration. Ginger Hart is spending the season like she has for the past year: hopelessly crushing on Dallas, the gym bro who communicates in motivational quotes. In her quest for his attention, Ginger's lost more than a few pounds- maybe, a bit of herself. As the town gears up for the annual Pumpkin Stampede, something (or rather someone) rolls into town in a pumpkin-themed dessert truck parked right outside Ginger's salon. Behind the counter? Ex bull-rider Tucker Callahan. He's all cowboy hat and delicious sweets- basically everything Ginger's been trying to resist. When they decide to fake date for his image and for her to get Dallas' attention, he proposes one sugary-sweet condition. As cozy sparks fly, Ginger begins to wonder if God's sweetest plans aren't always the ones we bake up ourselves.

Book Review

Pumpkin spice and all the cowboy vibes!? Um, yes please! From the moment I saw this cover, I knew this one had to make my TBR- cowboys, fall and nail polish!? This cover really is just screaming all of my favorite things, so I definitely had high hopes for this one... and it did not disappoint in the slightest! Right from the start, Ginger and Tucker drew me in. I mean, a cowboy who bakes!? What could be better? And when he calls her darlin'? And that's before the fake dating (a favorite) begins! Oh, I just loved the sweet chemistry between these two. Beyond that though, I loved the messages of body positivity throughout. When we first meet Ginger, she is dieting and trying to change herself to catch the attention of her gym-bro crush... and I loved how Tucker accepted her just as she was. Throw in another great message of trusting God and His timing and there truly was so much to love in this sweet story. If you love cowboy romance and smalltown fall vibes, this is certainly one not to miss! This is the first book I've read from this author, but I look forward to reading more!

How to Fall for a Cowboy is a Christian romance with kisses only and no language.
