Book Review

Honestly, I am not sure that I have ever fallen in love with a story quite so quickly as I did this one... especially one from a new to me author! From that unforgettable meet cute? I was absolutely hooked.  Seriously, it was one of my favorite meet cutes ever. And by the end of the first chapter? I could already tell it was going to be a favorite... and it truly only got better from there! Gray and Ivy had such a tender and emotional romance- filled equally with both moments that made me smile and swoon and those that had me reaching for the tissues. I loved these two together so much and didn't want their story to end. But as beautiful as that romance was, the way that their story points to Jesus always? Seeing Ivy's faith journey throughout? Oh my goodness, that truly was where the real beauty was. This story didn't shy away from Chistian themes, but I loved that it did so through the lives of these imperfect characters- one who was strong in his faith but still didn't always get it right and one who had a lot of questions and was still trying to figure it all out. I personally found that there was a little something in each of these characters that I could relate to, and it only made me love their story all that much more. This was truly such a beautiful romance, and I absolutely loved it. If you love Christian romance, Amber Nicole is certainly one to watch... I can't wait to see what she's going to do next in this series and beyond! 

Dare to Hold is a Christian romance with kisses only and no language. There are some mentions of sex and temptation, but all through a Biblical perspective.
