I was given the opportunity to check out this study for myself and share some thoughts. As of the time of this posting, I have read/watched parts of the study to get an idea of what it's like but have not completed it in its entirety. The study is broken down into six sessions, each session perfect to be completed in one week. This study is related to the book of the same name but can be used without having the book. I personally don't have the book myself, and while I'm sure this would certainly add even more depth to the experience, it worked without it as well. Each session starts with a video session and is designed to be followed up with a group discussion and three days of personal study. Personally, I wasn't using this with a group, and while you might miss some of that discussion aspect of the study, it does work as a solo study as well. I do appreciate for those that are using it in that setting, it's broken down really well and has good tips for those leading the group as well. I also love these studies like this where you get both those videos (accessed through a code found in the study), but also a physical book with plenty of room for notes and personal reflection. Everyone learns differently and I have found that this is a combination that works really well for me. The videos are well-spoken and interesting, with the guide drawing me deeper into those messages. If you're looking to learn more about the Holy Spirit, either on your own or with a group, this is a study that is absolutely worth checking out!
