Book Review

While Seas the Dating Coach is the first full book in the Wilks Beach series, there is a novella- Holiday Tides- that takes place before this one. Those who have read the first book may recognize a few characters, but it's definitely not necessary to read first to enjoy this one. 

Absolutely obsessed... is putting it mildly! I had so much love to Finn and Vivian right from the very start. From their awkward meet-cute, these two drew me right in. As someone who has many times been referred to as 'painfully shy', I definitely felt myself relating to Vivian right from the start... but I loved how she was able to be comfortable with Finn and when her sassy and flirty side comes out? Oh, it was so fun! From the start, Finn seemed super confident- almost cocky even- but the more we got to know his past and see him drop that mask a bit- well, it was hard not to love him and root for him to get his happily ever after... talk about some complicated family dynamics! I loved how they BOTH were a safe space for the other and helped each other grow as the story went on. And oh, the chemistry! That first kiss!? Just... wow! I absolutely loved it! This story/series does have a hint of magic as well... it's subtle (not dark, no spells or anything like that), but I love the perfect touch of whimsy it adds to an already wonderful story! As much as I adored Finn and Vivian, all the side characters in this story were absolutely intriguing as well... I find myself looking forward to seeing who is going to get their happily ever after next! I cannot wait!
