Looking for a gift that is both beautiful and thoughtful? We talk a lot about faith-based products here, but today I'm sharing one that is truly very unique... Temple Mount Soil necklaces. Take a look:
So, what exactly is in this necklace?
Each necklace contains actual soil from the Temple Mount. This isn't just any soil from some random spot in Jerusalem nor is it meant to be merely symbolic. This is from the most sacred site in biblical history---the precise location that the Bible tells us Solomon built the First Temple and where the Second Temple stood while Jesus was alive. It is the soil upon where Jesus would have taught, performed miracles and fulfilled prophecies.
If it's so sacred, how was the soil obtained?
Back in 1999, there was some construction activity on the Temple Mount that displaced tons of ancient soil. This was so controversial an event that the Israeli government has since ensured that no more will ever be removed from the site... what was gathered at that time is all that will exist, making this something that cannot be recreated or gathered again.
Each particle within these necklaces has been carefully screened, studied and documented by the Temple Mount Sifting Project to ensure authenticity, the only organization authorized to handle and verify the soil. Each bottle includes documentation to show authenticity as well.
What does your purchase do?
On a personal front, having this tangible piece of Biblical history can be a way to connect believers to these stories that feel far from their everyday lives... but beyond that, each purchase directly supports the continued archeological work to uncover and preserve biblical artifacts and research that helps to verify and offer insight into biblical events. By purchasing, you become part of this ongoing mission to document and preserve our spiritual heritage for future believers.
