The Book
A mysterious note, a crush-at-first sight, and a plot twist to pull on heartstrings.
It all began with one expertly placed note, smack-dab in the middle of my Zamboni steering wheel:
“Can I have a ride on your Zamboni? Miss Crazy.”
Curiosity gets the best of me, and I reach out to Miss Crazy.
We text back and forth, exchanging details about our lives, which increasingly become more personal. Come to find out, the person on the phone isn’t so crazy at all. She’s actually very sweet. We agree to meet up but to my heartbreak, Miss Crazy ghosts me.
Everyone says I got played, but I know better.
Something is wrong.
Now, I’m frantic to find out her identity, not only to make sure she’s safe, but because not knowing is driving me crazy.
Driving Miss Crazy is a fun novella to introduce you to Mapleton’s newest AHL hockey team, Granite Ice. You’ll get a glimpse of the world in this sweet read that’s meant to be consumed in two-three hours. It has no cliffhangers, a guaranteed HEA, all the swoons, but no explicit scenes.
The Author
J.P. Sterling grew up watching old reruns of Lucille Ball and Mary Tyler Moore and fell in love with wholesome entertainment and slapstick comedy. She loves leaning into the over-the-top humor and full circle moments, especially if it means the underdog gets to shine.
Aside from writing, she's also a wife and homeschooling mom, a holistic dietitian, a former college professor and lover of all things dark chocolate.
*No swears. Just kisses. No Blasphemies.*
Book Review
This was such a cute read! Sam and Finley had a sweet chemistry... they both had their awkward moments, but it was super endearing at the same time. And honestly, a romance started largely based upon a mutual love of tacos!? I mean, what could be better than that! That added even more fun to their story, but I also loved how they connected on a deeper level with their mutual insecurities as well. These two were just really cute, and I couldn't help but enjoy their story. This is a super quick read- easily read in just a sitting or two, but it was the perfect bite-sized love story to introduce this new series... I cannot wait to see what's going to happen next.Driving Miss Crazy is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language.
