Book Review
Expired Vows is the fourth book in the Last Chance Fire and Rescue series. I have only personally read one of the previous books in the series so far, and I found I was still able to understand and enjoy this just the same.
My goodness, this was an intense book... and that starts right at the beginning. I must admit that when I first started reading, I wasn't sure about this one... while it drew me in right away, it touched on some topics that I wasn't sure would be good for my mental health. Still, I was intrigued by the story, so while I DID step away a few times... I am so glad I came back to it. This story was so wonderfully written. Even with the tough topics that it deals with, there is also a very beautiful message of healing and of faith. And of course, a beautiful love story too! It was the perfect blend of all of these elements to keep me on the edge of my seat and wondering what would happen next throughout... but leave me walking away with hope too.
If you enjoy romantic suspense, this is absolutely one not to miss!
