**Complimentary copy received for consideration. All thoughts are my own.

Reading the Bible is important.

We all know this, right? Of course we do. No matter our age, we know that one of the best ways that we can grow our relationship with God is to spend time in His word. We want that relationship for ourselves... and for the kids in our lives as well.

The problem?

The Bible is not always the easiest book to read... and sometimes it's not the most fun either. This can be especially true for kids. So, how can we encourage kids to spend time in the word when they would much rather be reading something else... or spending time on a device?

The new CSB Explorer Bible for Kids is a unique new Bible that can make spending time in God's word fun and understandable!

You can read the Bible from front to back a million times over, but if you don't understand what it is you're reading, what are you getting out of it. As an adult there are times that I still struggle to understand what I'm reading... not just in the language, but in what it meant in the context to the time and audience. If as adults we still have some confusion, it's certain that kids might need some help understanding as well. The CSB is a great translation that is easy to read and understand. It is one that I have really come to enjoy over the years, and I think is a great choice for a kids' Bible. Beyond that though, this Bible has so many great features that help kids to truly grasp what the Bible is saying and how it applies to their lives to. It has a lot of great historical information, and really does a great job of breaking things down.

For kids, making it fun is just as important too. Now, we know that there are some pretty exciting stories within the Bible... but kids might still need a little encouragement to dive in to find those stories. This Bible not only looks super fun with it's colorful pages and photos throughout, but it also brings in something else that many kids love--- technology! QR codes throughout take kids to fun activities and video links that make reading their Bible a fun and interactive activity! What's not to love about that?
