Fall time has finally arrived, and I could not be happier about the cooler temperatures!
What do you think of when you think fall? Cool temps? Fall baking? Sweaters? For many, fall means all of these things...as well as Halloween! And I can not think of a better way to spend Halloween than curling up on the couch watching some spooky--- but not too scary--- television with my kiddos. As a kid of the 90s, one great example that comes to mind for that is Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Like many, I so enjoyed this show growing up... it really was such a fun show! It was just scary enough to creep us out--- without keeping us up all night! When I saw that they were bringing it back, I looked forward to checking it out, but was also a little apprehensive as well. So many shows from my childhood have been brought back only to have been a letdown, but I have to say that this is one that I have enjoyed watching with my kids... I mean, sure I might still prefer the older episodes strictly for the nostalgia aspect of it, but we can all enjoy the new ones too.. and this new DVD is out just in time for fall and Halloween entertaining! A definite must have for fans---new and old!
