School may be out for the summer, but that doesn't mean the learning has to stop there. When you make learning fun, it can go on all year long. In our family, this is just what National Geographic Kids books always tend to provide. We were excited to check out a new variety of fiction and nonfiction books alike to keep the kids engaged in learning all summer long.

First up, the nonfiction. The first book that my daughter reached for in the bundle was 101 Life Hacks. If you have a child that enjoys watching life hack videos online, they are going to adore this book. The hacks included are quick and easy to follow... and are truly helpful too! My daughter has already tried a few--- and started a list of many more he's looking forward to. This has quite quickly become a favorite for her.

Speaking of favorites,  for the last several years the yearly
National Geographic Kids Almanac has been another favorite around here. This fantastic book i packed full of fun facts on a wide variety of topics. With National Geographic's signature bold pictures and fun facts, it will keep kids entertained for hours! We find this to be one that is great to stick in the car or bring along to appointments, as there always seems to be something new to find. We love them!

The final nonfiction title was
5,000 Awesome Facts About Everything. My daughter is all about fun facts. One of the most common words to come from her mouth are "Did you know...?" followed by a fun fact that she's heard or read. If you have a kid like this as well, this book truly is designed for them. So many facts to learn and discover about such a wide variety of topics. This is another one that never seems to get old because there is just so much to learn and discover each time you open it.

We love National Geographic nonfiction books for their abundance of fantastic facts and photos... but their fiction books are every bit as fun too... taking us on adventures that will teach without kids even realizing it. Each of the books/series is fantastic. My daughter is excited to check them all out--- particularly Zeus the Mighty as this one is brand new to us and more her level age wise!

Whether you are looking for nonfiction books to make learning fun or fictional stories that your child will learn from as their imagination expands, National Geographic books have you covered for both.
