Three Missing Days by Colleen Coble {Book Review}

**I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher for consideration. All thoughts are my own.

 A chilling murder.

Chief of Police Jane Hardy plunges into the investigation of a house fire that claimed the life of a local woman as well as one of the firefighters. It’s clear the woman was murdered. But why? The unraveling of Jane’s personal life only makes the answers in the case more difficult to find.

Her son’s arrest.

Then Jane’s fifteen-year-old son is accused of a horrific crime, and she has to decide whether or not she can trust her ex, Reid, in the attempt to prove Will’s innocence—and whether she can trust Reid with her heart.

Her stolen memories.

Three days of Jane’s past are missing from her memory, and that’s not all that has been stolen from her. As she works to find the woman’s murdered and clear her son’s name, finding out what happened in those three days could change everything.

It all started with one little lie. But the gripping truth is finally coming out.

The third and final book in Colleen Coble's Pelican Harbor series is finally here... and it was absolutely 100% well worth the wait. If you haven't read the first two books, you will want to catch up on those before picking up this one. It's possible you might still enjoy it as a standalone, but this is definitely a series where each book picks up where the previous left off and would therefor have you missing a LOT if you picked up on book three.

One Little Lie (book one) introduced us to Jane and Reid's past together growing up in a cult. Through the series so far we have seen many lies uncovered, their coming back together and the reintroduction of more figures from their past. While some questions have been answered, many more had kept us waiting... all those questions and a few more are finally answered in this thrilling conclusion. When their son is accused of a murder he didn't commit, they have to discover what other secrets are catching up to their family and prove his innocence.

It's no secret that Colleen Coble is a top favorite of mine and this book and series are a fantastic example as to why! Right from the start, she drew us into these characters with nonstop action and questions that left me on the edge of my seat... not just through this book but the series as a whole. I loved these characters she created and wasn't ready to say goodbye just yet... though I was quite happy with the ending nonetheless.

If you enjoy romantic suspense and haven't yet read this series (or others by Colleen Coble), you're missing out! Start reading these ASAP! You won't regret it.
