Sweet or salty?
When it comes to snacking, what's your go to?
While I enjoy a sweet treat every now and again, I must admit that salty, crunchy snacks are my weakness. Still, that doesn't usually go along with any plans to eat healthy, does it? Oftentimes when we deprive ourselves of those cravings, it doesn't keep us from giving into them eventually, but rather makes us give into them more when we do. So what do we do instead? Find healthier versions of the snacks we crave, of course!
Sounds easy enough, but is much easier said than done. So, when I heard about a LOVE CORN I couldn't wait to try it out for myself.

As I was looking into LOVE CORN, I was struck by the principles by which they center their company.

3. Their brand should make their customers smile.
While many companies might have principles that they say they adhere to, they do often fall short in many ways. I loved these principles and found them to be just what I look for in a company, so I was curious to see just how LOVE CORN stood up. The verdict? They are nailing it! Let's break it down.
1. Their snacks will always be delicious and made with simple ingredients.
The savory, crunchy snacks are made with all plant-based ingredients. Take a look at your favorite salty snack's ingredient list, what does it look like? Chances are it's got a long list of ingredients, many of which are unrecognizable. LOVE CORN uses three simple ingredients: crunchy corn, sunflower oil, and sea salt. Even the flavored varieties have just a few more recognizable ingredients added. They are also vegan, gluten free, Non-GMO Project Verified, kosher, and sugar free.
But what about that first part... are they delicious? Can they be flavorful with so few ingredients?
100% yes! I'm a very picky eater so trying new foods always leaves me a bit apprehensive. I really wasn't sure what to expect with this one. I mean, I like corn... but crunchy corn? As a snack? I must admit I was very pleasantly surprised. To me, they tasted a bit like corn chips. My daughter thought they were more like popcorn... either way we both enjoyed them anyway. Yes, definitely delicious!

Not only can I feel good about feeding my family LOVE CORN as a healthier alternative to chips, pretzels, crackers and corn nuts, but I can feel good about the difference they are making as well.

Finding a good tasting snack that's better for me certainly makes me smile. And one that can be enjoyed in so many ways makes it even better.
My kids love their LOVE CORN for a delicious snack between meals. While my kids are currently learning at home, I also couldn't help but think that these would be a fun addition to their lunchboxes once back at school? Have kids in sports or other extracurriculars?
