Many of us spend so much time making the perfect Christmas for everyone else that we neglect to get a little something for ourselves.

Now, I know, I know... underwear for Christmas might not sound like the greatest gift in the world, but it's more than simply underwear.
This morning, I ordered both of my children some new underwear... and not for the first time of the year. It seems like I am constantly buying new ones for them as they continue to grow or wear them out, etc. But moms, when was the last time you bought some for yourself? I'd say for many that answer is likely longer than we care to admit. And even then if you're anything like me, it's merely the basics. Whatever is on sale and will get the job done. There's nothing wrong with that. It's practical even... but sometimes we deserve a little something extra. Something to make us feel beautiful, confident and special.
Though no one else may see it- spouse excluded... there really is something about a beautiful set of underwear that can just give us that extra boost of confidence. As such, I was thrilled to try out a few products from Special Intimates for myself. 
Now, when you hear that name- Special Intimates. What comes to mind? For many, we picture sexy and skimpy lingerie. Well, that's only half truth. While their lace designs may make you feel sexy and beautiful... they are far from skimpy. Let's be honest, after 5 pregnancies and two children... skimpy just isn't going to cut it for me... in fact, it's more likely to make me feel less beautiful and more like I'm trying to be something I am not. Special Intimates actually creates pieces that women can look and feel good in. They offer a variety of styles of panties from thongs to boy shorts, as well as tanks too. I personally was drawn to their shapewear section and chose to try out the High Waisted Shaping Brief and Shaping Tank. I find that high waisted styles tend to flatter my body shape best, and I always like that little extra support from shapewear too. These were absolutely stunning. The lace material was soft and feminine... I adored it. Take a look at this beautiful detail. 
But for moms, comfort is also key and I found these to be extremely comfortable. They fit my body well and were very soft. This isn't the first pair of lace underwear I've tried... but it is by far the most cozy! Definitely a win in my book! The tank was likewise super comfortable, and not at all revealing so perfect to wear around the house as well. They both washed well too, which means you won't just be throwing money away on something that won't last!
As products made in the USA using sustainable practices (including solar panel roofs & use of natural fibers in their cotton & modal fabrications), this truly is a product I can feel good in AND about! Treat yourself this holiday season... you deserve it!!
